Describe Activities Undertaken To Fulfill That Initiative: Bill Dawkins spoke at John Egly’s Radio Station Operations class. He spoke with them about what the radio business is like in the real world today, as well as answered their questions.

Describe Activities Undertaken To Fulfill That Initiative: Shaunna Conner, Promotions Director, spoke with students at MTSU on various careers in radio broadcast.

Specify First Initiative: Invited a Group from Bosnia to tour our station.
Describe Activities Undertaken To Fulfill That Initiative: A group of Bosnian visitors were sponsored by the UT School of Journalism and TAB. We invited them to tour our station facilities and we answered any questions they had regarding radio.

Specify Second Initiative: Seminar sponsored by TAB, MTSU
Describe Activities Undertaken To Fulfill That Initiative: Seminar was regarding EEO and preventing discrimination. The following were in attendance: Bud Walters (President), Janice Russell (HR), Christy Wilson (AE), Shaunna Conners (Promotions Director), and Sam Easley (On-Air Announcer).

Specify Third Initiative: Presentation to MTSU students to raise awareness and teach students about selling media.
Describe Activities Undertaken To Fulfill That Initiative: Carrie Hunter (AE) made a presentation to MTSU students for a better understanding of how to sell media today.

Specify Fourth Initiative: Employment & Discrimination Law Seminar
Describe Activities Undertaken To Fulfill That Initiative: King & Ballew held a seminar to bring all up to date on Employment & Discrimination laws. Topics discussed were: Harassment, ADA Law Suits, policy & document updates, FMLA & appearance discrimination. Janice Russell was the attendee.

Specify Fifth Initiative:  $7,500 Broadcast Scholarship given away.
Describe Activities Undertaken To Fulfill That Initiative: In conjunction with The Idea Bank, we gave away a $7,500 broadcast scholarship. Ads were run on air.

Specify Sixth Initiative: KBA Political Advertising & EEO Update
